P. Nicholas

A native of Litchfield County, Connecticut, Peter Nicholas founded P. Nicholas Interiors in 2020.  With a passion for mixing contemporary and antique styles, and with an extensive background in textiles, Peter works with clients to decorate living spaces that are luxurious, functional and comfortable.  His aesthetic is influenced by his extensive global travel experiences, and also incorporates the interplay of indoor/outdoor and gardening lifestyle when the project permits.  

 

A graduate of NYC’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Peter began his career in NYC’s textile design world, working with Lee Jofa, Sferra and Julia B. Couture Linens, before launching his own design firm.  He has collaborated with numerous renowned interior and fashion designers, including Kelly Wearstler, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and Holland & Sherry, on textile and home collections. 

 

Peter splits his time between Chicago and NYC/Connecticut.  His current projects are located in Litchfield County, CT, Chicago and the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles.
